Hays Education are looking for EBD Teaching Assistants to fill support roles in Anfield assisting pupils with severe EBD and/or ASD, ADHD and other learning difficulties.

Your new school

This school based in Anfield provides a high level of education and support to pupils with a vast array of emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and/or ADHD and ASD. Attendees are mostly previously excluded/non attendees aged 11-16. Your new school is focussed on enhancing its pupil’s education in order to be able to provide them with skills and qualifications to help them build an exciting future. Your new school is centred on building supportive relationships with its pupils and being proactive in helping the children with their individual needs. This school is pupil centred and provides unique features to help deliver a level of support and education to its pupils of the highest standard.

Your new role

Your job will be to assist the learning of pupils with severe EBD and or ASD and ADHD in a variety of subjects. Your job will be to help teach children aged 11-16 the work set to them by their teacher. Your job and will be to have regular contact with the class teacher and to assist them in a variety of duties. You will look to further the school’s vision of delivering transferable skills and qualifications with pupil centred support and relationships.

What you will need to succeed

To succeed in this job you will need previous experience working with EBD individuals and will have a passion for providing an enriching education to SEN individuals. You will be a proactive individual and someone who loves to help in all ways that they can the children they teach. To do this job you will need to have a valid DBS that is registered with the update service. You will possess confidence in working in small groups and 1:1.

What you will get in return

Undertaking this job will mean you will be paid £55-£65 a day. You will be paid every Friday a week in arrears weekly and you will enjoy working in an exceptional school environment that delivers state of the art services and support.
