This is a secondary school in Sheffield supporting students aged 11-16, with strong community and family links.

Your new role
Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, your role is all about managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive conduct around school. Your duties include being "on call" to remove students from class who are displaying negative behaviour, and supervising the reflection room. The job is full-time, 5 days a week 8:30am to 4:00pm. It is to start immediately until the end of term in July.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong behaviour management skills
• Patient and calm attitude
• Be immediately available for work
• Ideally have experience working with vulnerable students displaying challenging behaviours, for at least 40 days in the last 2 years
• Have a valid, enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service
