Your new role
In the role you will place importance on helping the service users learn new skills by encouraging them to take an active interest in the running of their home with their own areas of responsibility. This helps improve daily living skills and confidence and as greater independence is achieved we update support plans with the individual to make sure we are maximising their choices and opportunities.
You will be assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and long day shifts and sleeps.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 6 months experience within the last two years in a Social Care position.
