Your new role
You'll be assisting in the leadership, management and be accountable for a team that provides the delivery of advice and projects in relation to the Council’s capital programme.
You'll take projects though all stages of the RIBA plan of works, with creative and imaginative designs that takes into account finite budgets. You'll be leading design teams that will include external consultants to ensure that appropriate and imaginative solutions to service priorities are identified, consulted on and implemented to achieve service requirements.
You'll also ensure that these services are delivered within the Council’s framework of quality standards, performance targets, budgetary control, procurement and legislative requirements. To work in collaboration with other managers and staff across the Council to ensure that services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives.
You should be able to be able to undertake measured drawing surveys of existing buildings to apply for the role
