Administrator required to support the licensing team at Birmingham City Council, 3 month role, office based
Your new company
Working in the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire team at Birmingham City Council, you will be part of a team of administrators supporting the wider team through a period of system change. The council's licensing system is currently in the process of being replaced to improve efficiencies with go-live anticipated for May 2022.

Your new role
To support this transition, a small team of additional administrators are needed to conduct daily duties in the licensing team. Your duties will include printing applications, scanning documents, filing, data entry and reception activities.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a busy time to join the team through a period of change, and therefore a positive and can-do-attitude is essential. Previous administration experience in a similar role is also recommended, including data entry experience and good communication skills.

What you'll get in return
This administrator role is office based at their centre in Garrets Green, Birmingham.The office is open between the hours of 8am and 5pm, the team can be flexible on working patterns and are happy to consider part-time hours too.
