Administrator Job, 12 month fixed contract, 37.5 hours per week, remote working available

Work with the South Coast Ambulance Service! You can make a real positive difference to the lives of individuals across the South Coast. The team are hiring an experience administrator to complete a range of tasks in order to make sure the service runs as efficiently as possible.

Your new role
The role will support the Portfolio team across a breadth of activity in order to support effective people management, service delivery and reporting. Prospective applicants should be experienced administrators who is IT literate with experience across a range of administrative activities such as preparing papers, setting up meetings, taking minutes, diary management, maintaining meeting documentation. Applicants should be strong communicators, with excellent organisational skills. Applicants should have a positive work ethic and a flexible approach. The role will predominately involve agile working from home with a requirement to attend Trust HQ and other sites frequently.

What you'll need to succeed
  • NVQ4 in administration or related subject or demonstrable equivalent proven experience.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Advanced keyboard skills, numerate and able to prepare and present statistical data.
  • Ability to accurate notes of meetings and formal minutes.
  • Able to communicate at all levels of the organisation and demonstrating appropriate level of tact or diplomacy Able to work using own initiative and requiring minimal supervision
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadline
  • Considerable secretarial/ administrative experience gained working as part of a team.
  • Experience of dealing with patients/staff/service users and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
