Your new company
Based in Port Glasgow, our client is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 3 month Fixed Term Basis with a view of going Permanent. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The role will be based in office. The organisation is served well by public transport, have on site parking and will provide kit for working from home.
Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will work as part of a small team. Your duties will involve; purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, petty cash, invoicing, payroll, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and general associated tasks assigned to you by the Financial Controller.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven successful experience of the above duties. You will be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as you will communicate with clients on a daily basis.
