Your new company
The company produce a range of marine engines and world class jet yachts for a wide variety of clients. They were first established in 1996 and boast many high-end clients worldwide, seeing around £22m in revenue. You will be based at their production facility in Oxford.
Your new role
As Compliance & Mechanical Design Engineer you will be required to produce, maintain, and manage technical assembly and manufacturing drawings. You will be expected to develop product specific literature, provide technical support to production and sales, and oversee product on-water testing. You will also be required to ensure all new and existing products adhere to compliance regulations and standards such as CE, NMMA, and SOLAS.
What you'll need to succeed
A formal qualification in Engineering, such as an HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software is essential, and an understanding of marine, electrical or automotive manufacturing processes would be an advantage.
What you'll get in return
As a Compliance & Mechanical Design Engineer you will be paid a salary of £35,000 DOE. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits and excellent progression opportunities.
