Our client, an award-winning, executive conference organiser devoted to the Asset Management community, are actively seeking an experienced, articulate candidate to join their high-performing Central London team. Based in a fantastic location (with flexibility to work from home on a hybrid basis), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client have been established for a number of years and bring together leading global Asset Managers/Senior Fund Selectors to discuss and debate the latest investment ideas. Their conferences take place across Europe, however the last year has seen them transition into more of a digital offering (which they will combine with physical events moving forward). Due to their continued growth, they are actively seeking an articulate, professional Business Development Specialise to join their team, increasing their sales pipeline. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying, engaging and forming strong relationships with senior decision makers in the Asset Management industry
- Owning the entire sales cycle from researching, prospecting over the phone, Zoom meets and (when safe!) face to face meetings
- Maintaining client relationships to ensure continued business
- Understanding client objectives and strategies to provide suitable solutions
- Working to sales expectations/targets

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Experience of event sponsorship sales (preferably within the Asset Management/Finance world)
- Proven experience of exceeding sales targets
- Articulate telephone manner / excellent communication skills
- Incredible ability to build strong relationships
- Fun, sociable personality
