Your new role
The Cleaning & External Services Manager will be responsible for the effective and efficient operational management of the campus cleaning and waste services for non-residential buildings, all external areas and soft grounds maintenance. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a customer focussed, high standard cleaning and grounds service, developing and monitoring service level agreements (SLA’s), in alignment with customer and stakeholder requirements.
The post holder will report to the Facilities Manager and work with them to develop and deliver an industry standard, best practice cleaning and grounds service across all sites, and actively contribute to the continual improvement of these services. The post holder will ensure all statutory obligations with regards to cleaning and waste services are met in full; and to provide accurate management information and performance analysis of the cleaning and external services.
The successful candidate will need a degree or equivalent professional qualifications or relevant experience in a similar role and meet the following requirements;
IOSH Managing Safely qualification
BICS trained assessor
