Interim Commissioning Manager - Local Authority - 3 Month Contract - London

Your new company
An exciting opportunity for an interim Commissioning Manager to work with a London based Local Authority.You will be joining for an initial 3 month interim period. The role will be inside IR35 so you may only be paid through an umbrella company or PAYE.

Your new role
You will be responsible for commissioning social care and/ or residential services. Once commissioned, you will also be responsible for performance management. This could include; arranging meetings with service providers to ensure that the services being provided are achieving required standards, reviewing contracts and monitoring KPI’s. You will also be managing a small team of 6.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered you will have commissioned social care and/ or residential services, ideally within another Local Authority. You will also have experience of successfully performance managing services. Leadership qualities along with team management are also required.
