Analyst - 15 week contract, Manchester
  • The primary role of the analysts will be:
    • Work through a list of Active Directory accounts and find owners for those accounts according to a set of predefined steps;
    • Coordinate a set of remediation steps with account owners to make accounts compliant with policy;
    • Push accounts that cannot be remediated through a set of exception management processes;
    • Onboard compliant accounts into CyberArk (training will be provided for setting up CyberArk safes and onboarding accounts).
Someone with a background in user access management would typically fit the bill. The key characteristics:

  • Methodical: the right person will be used to working within a well-defined process where steps must be completed methodically and be evidenced.
  • Clear Communicator: We are heavily dependent upon account owners to do the remediation work. This is extra work no-one will want to do, so being able to clearly and robustly explain what must be done and why when challenged is a must.
  • Trusted: the assumption is that the role will be remote. We also don’t have a huge amount of time to micro-manage, so someone who can be trusted to get on with the job and track progress accurately is a must.
