An initial temporary Office Manager role based in Guildford with the potential of becoming permanent.

This brilliant opportunity for an experienced Office Manager sits with a fast growing FMCG organisation based in the heart of Guildford, Surrey.

Your new role
In your new role as Office Manager you will manage the day to day operations in the office from customer service, order processing, bookkeeping, marketing and business development.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Undertaking management responsibilities for all staff such as absence and holiday requests, appraisals and disciplinary procedures and training/development
  • Helping with answering the phone and emails, dealing with enquiries and processing customer orders
  • Helping with the operational team with any queries when needed
  • You will be in charge of ordering stationery and office supplies and dealing with any facilities and equipment issues
  • Managing the company social media channels, building the brand and developing business
  • Looking after the company bookkeeping, ensuring everything is accounted for

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new Office Manager role you will ideally possess:
  • Previous experience managing an office and agility to assist in all areas of the business
  • Previous experience in the FMCG or Retail industry (advantageous but not essential)
  • Excellent communications skills, confident representing the business and liaising with customers, clients, suppliers and staff
  • The ability to be a quick learner, able to hit the ground running and be willing to help with whatever is needed of you
  • High organisation skills, be able to prioritise workload and multitask
  • The ability to learn and work a very varied role from order processing to minimal bookkeeping and running company social media accounts

In return you'll be offered an initial temporary role paying the equivalent of £30,000 per annum with the potential to become permanent.
