In this role you will be working with very vulnerable children between the ages of 8 and 18 with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for providing physical and emotional care for these children and ensuring that they are safe and happy. You will be responsible for ensuring their day runs smoothly and a routine is maintained throughout the day. You will have to update their care plans and ensure that up to date records are being maintained. You will also enjoy taking the children for days out and encourage them to have independence.
