A Darlington based, local success, this company are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to strengthen their existing finance team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Directors and supervising a small, but long-serving, finance team, one of your first main tasks will be to update the existing accounting package. You will then be responsible for updating and improving all the current controls and procedures and overseeing the day to day financial transactions of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be AAT qualified, or qualified by experience and have prior, recent experience of running a busy finance office. The role will require you to be able to produce monthly management accounts, whilst at the same time remaining hands on and engaged with the day to day ledger transactions. A knowledge of Xero and/or Sage would be advantageous.

You will be offered a permanent full-time contract, competitive salary and the chance to join a thriving team. Initially you will be required to work from home due to Covid 19 restrictions, but it is anticipated that you will be office based, at least on a part-time basis in the next few months.
