Deployment Scheduler
A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for a Deployment Scheduler on a Thin Client Roll out project with a major banking client in the City of London.
6 month contract to start in June.

Previous involvement in Desktop Deployment and Migration Projects
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office applications required
Ability to communicate openly and effectively both verbally and in writing
Self-Starter able to work on their own initiative
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to maintain attention to details under pressure
Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

Tasks that the schedulers would carry out:
Scheduling migrations
Raising GSNOW tickets on X+1
Monitoring chat channels and share mailboxes that are used as communication and escalation methods.
Escalate issues to Deployment Managers
Discover desk locations where missing - Chat email call users or LMs where no response
ISAC updates post migration
Tracking DTP retrievals - Laptops as well as all extra kit under users name
ARP bulk Deny DTP requests
Network connection requests
User has no fixed desk\User in Agile area - Feedback to Deployment Managers, need a decision on migration
DTP machine(s) to be Terminalized identified for Deployment sheet - only 1 to remain at desk - Clarify which one with user\ DMs
Non-standard Kit found - Feedback to DMs need a decision on migration
Work with MRC on Rescheduling and cancellations
Rollbacks reporting
Reports - Success\failure of deployments, Legacy kit reports (Removed, Wiped/Disposed or Available for reuse)
