A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for a Physical Deployment Project Manager for a major financial client in the City of London (remote currently) 6 month contract to start ASAP. Outside of IR35.

The Physical Deployment Project Manager must be an energetic, proactive and self-motivated individual that can demonstrate successful document and project control skills. The individual must possess the skills required to successfully assist the project team in achieving daily deployments and to document project tasks and deliverables, managing a cohesive and comprehensive project schedule and maintaining accurate reporting, ensuring the completeness and quality of project deliverables.

A successful candidate for this position will be a collaborative team player and have a strong drive to deliver high quality outcomes. This role is responsible for the monitoring and control of regional physical deployments, as well as assisting in the development of standard project management procedures and processes. The Physical Deployment Project Manager will have proven ability to handle multiple complex tasks and have business and personnel management skills including the ability to establish and manage priorities.

Work closely with internal and external migration teams to ensure the timely completion of assigned project tasks
Perform day to day project management duties related project including the production of daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Deployment Stream
Supervise and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
Regularly communicate project status to project stakeholders
Evaluate potential problems and technical issues and develop solutions
Raise requests to support engineering and project teams
Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
Manage project-related information by ensuring all necessary materials are current, accessible, and organised

Previous involvement in transformation or migration programme preferred
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office applications required
Familiarity with PMP project management methodologies required
Familiarity with operational frameworks such as ITIL or Prince2 preferred
Ability to communicate openly and effectively both verbally and in writing
Self-Starter able to work on their own initiative
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to maintain attention to details under pressure
Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Willing to work flexibly to undertaken work outside of core business hours on occasion
Previous experience in Financial Services desirable
