Content Marketing Executive

Digital Content Executive role, with development opportunities, based in the heart of Brighton.
If you are looking for a creative and innovative role, with previous Digital Marketing comms experience, then this would be an exciting opportunity for you. Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, you will have a focus on the development and implementation of multi-channel content to support the inbound marketing.

You will be responsible for the strategy and production of content across all platforms, including website, email, PR and social media channels to drive brand awareness, broaden audience reach in the commercial arena. This role mainly targets external Marketing but you will delve into internal marketing from time to time.

Your new role

Content creation and distribution – Drive lead generation from a variety of digital content assets such as guides, blogs, case studies, emails etc. Deepen rankings and maximise digital footprint with SEO knowledge. Publish and distribute content on and offline to help drive traffic to websites.

Social media - Drive audience acquisition, increase click through rate and audience engagement in line with digital strategy.

Media and third-party relations - Act as the POC for media engagement, as well as write dynamic press releases appealing to national and regional media
Maintain and manage media lists and build relationships with key editors, journalists and bloggers.

Campaigns and collateral - Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver cross-channel, integrated marketing campaigns, in line with digital strategy. Liaise with design to produce and maintain marketing materials for both UK and Ireland, including sales collateral. Manage advertisement production and bookings.

Data and analysis - Actively monitor and measure content and campaign impact to help improve future campaigns.

Internal communications - Direct key messages throughout the business using both company intranet and email to ensure all staff are aware of relevant marketing activity, business activity and marketing intelligence.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Creative and skilled in generating ideas for content; utilising a range of approaches to ensure a consistent releases of high quality content.
  • Excellent creative writing skills and experience creating unique content
  • Experience in a digital marketing communications or content production role.
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing, particularly inbound marketing and SEO and the role content plays in it.
  • Knowledge of online PR and social media marketing.
  • Experience using CRM and CMS platforms

  • Experience using an Email Service Provider such as DotMailer or MailChimp.
  • Experience of content management systems
  • Experience in a B2B background.
