Judicial Assistants to support the work of the Justices.
The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom invites applications for Judicial Assistants to support the work of the Justices.

Fixed term contracts will start on Monday 14 September 2020 and finish on Friday 30 July 202

Applications are invited for up to eleven temporary posts, assisting the Justices of the Supreme Court (who also sit in the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council) by carrying out research in connection with appeals and summarising applications for permission to appeal.

Candidates must be qualified in one of the UK jurisdictions as solicitors, barristers or advocates at the time of submitting their application. In addition, they must also have completed a training contract or pupillage by the start of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate a high intellectual and analytical ability, incisiveness and work well under pressure.

Salary will be £36,500 per annum plus an annual leave entitlement of 23 days encouraged to be taken outside of term time.

Appointments are full-time and candidates must be able to start on Monday 14 September 2020 and finish on Friday 30 July 2021.
