Neighbourhood Officer required for Birmingham City Council, based in Northfield, temp role ongoing, £13.45/hr

Your new company
Working for Birmingham City Council in the Northfield area in Birmingham, your role is to to provide one to one support to local tenants, who are risk of tenancy failure.

Your new role
Your man duties will include resolving customer enquiries and requests relating to the setting up of new tenancies and sustaining of existing tenancies This role provides full support and guidance, facilitating cross-service solutions to enable them to begin and sustain their tenancy. This will entail signposting to the relevant agencies for, tracking and monitoring new tenancies for any breaches of the tenancy such as non-payment of rent and antisocial behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar Neighbourhood Officer role is essential, knowledge of housing landlord and tenant polices and procedures where relevant. Excellent communication skills and a calm and considered manner, able to deal with challenging situations.
