Your new role
In your new job as a Contracts Manager your main duties will be:
  • Manage Contractors, focused on the proactive and reactive maintenance and project work.
  • Contract Negotiation, tender evaluation and the on-going contract management to ensure performance levels are maintained & financial costs are controlled.
  • Lead, motivate & develop key Suppliers/Vendors in their delivery of Operational goals.
  • The management/control of contractors working and the development of various inspection, service and maintenance contracts.
  • Undertake random audits and inspections of Suppliers/Services and produce written reports detailing findings & recommendations.
  • Produce operational procedures & performance reports for Management team.
  • Work closely with our client/suppliers to ensure all aspects of the contract relating to the supplier manager role are fulfilled including proactive/reactive maintenance, project work, spares and logistics requirements.

What we are looking for
The successful HR Change Partner will have:
  • Experience of working in a management role in supplier management. Specifically the role will require considerable people management skills, influencing with clients, internal operational teams and 3rd Party Suppliers.
  • Experience of Contractual negotiations and Procurement within a telecommunications business.
  • You will have strong organisational and time management skills and be able to multi-task effectively.
  • You will have good leadership skills, be customer focused, forward thinking and professional.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, a “can do” attitude with an eye for detail and be able to transmit and encourage that attitude.
  • Previous experience of working within an Operational Management role is desirable.
