Experienced Purchase ledger clerk for Enfield based Property Company

Well established Construction and property company based in Enfield ,North London are looking for an experienced Purchase ledger Clerk to work as part of a small accounts team . Reporting to the Finance Manager ,duties will include:
  • All aspects of the purchase ledger function
  • Matching ,batching ,coding and inputting high volumes of invoices
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Negotiating Payment schedules
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Checking and inputting time sheets
  • Obtaining authorisation for payment from departmental managers
  • General admin /accounts work as required .
The ideal candidate should have :
  • A good level of education
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • At least 2 years previous accounts payable experience gained in a high volume environment
  • Fast and accurate inputting skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous accounts experience gained within the construction / property industry would be an advantage
