Quality & Risk Officer

This leading national law firm is looking to add to its compliance team with a Quality & Risk Officer to be based in its Harrogate office and reporting to the Head of Quality & Risk. This position will have a key role in the National team responsible for ensuring that the firm is compliant with all contractual, legislative and regulatory obligations.

You will work cover the entire spectrum of compliance but some of your duties will include assisting with the monitoring activities of the firm on a daily, monthly, quarterly basis, Produce Management Reports, Monitor and report on trends arising through analysis and presentations, assist with development of standard operating procedures and templates, Undertake or assist with ad-hoc projects for the Quality & Risk team, write up the compliance reviews making recommendations for corrective actions whilst ensuring that regulatory issues found through the monitoring processes are properly escalated to the relevant business areas in con junction with the Head of Quality and Risk.

You demonstrate a commitment to quality in your work at all times and have previous experience of working within a compliance department in a regulated sector. Whilst not essential Professional Compliance Qualifications would be an advantage in this role. Whilst the role is based in the firms Harrogate office the role is a national one and so travel to all offices will be required from time to time.

You will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and have solid previous administrative experience preferably within a legal or regulated environment. Good attention to detail and organisation is key with substantial IT skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Office generally. In return you will be rewarded with a salary in the region of £25,000 - £35,000 based on your current level of experience.
