Learning & Development Manager

Were seeking an innovative & progressive L&D Manager to join a busy HR & OD dept to transform the L&D service
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager to transform an L&D team. The focus of this will be to lead the L&D function, implementing a new LMS systems, developing digital learning, modern leadership and management development with 70/20/10 principals. The core to the role will develop manager & employee capability, skills through employee lead development using career tools, learning communities and various modern approaches to L&D. Core tasks : -

  • Leadership of L&D team
  • Senior level stakeholder engagement with Directors/ Divisional managers on L&D requirements
  • LMS implementation / oversight of new digital ways of working within L&D
  • Apprenticeship programmes for all areas including management/leadership apprenticeships.
  • L&D Budget management


We are seeking a commercially focused L&D Leader who has experience of modern learning, development and leadership development using 70/20/10 principals within a complex large scale organisation. We are also seeking someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of LMS systems and ideally previous experiences of implementing new LMS systems into organisations.

This is initially a 12 months + Contract
