NHS 111 GP - Out of Hours - Croydon

GPs required for flexible out of hours telephone triage work in Croydon
The role will entail you working as part of a multi-disciplinary Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) team, you'll undertake a range of duties to meet the needs of the 111 callers, promoting self-care wherever appropriate and providing telephone consultation. You'll use your clinical expertise, knowledge and skills to provide holistic assessment and clinical advice, completing the episode of care where possible and facilitating onward referral where necessary to a range of primary and secondary care services within the wider urgent care system.

In addition to supporting the CAS team (comprising of Call Handlers, Nurses, Paramedics, Paramedics and Advanced Practitioner), you'll also provide clinical support advice to healthcare professionals and care home staff to ensure Integrated Urgent Care System resources are utilised to deliver appropriate care out of hospital where possible; while also providing healthcare independently to patients.

Shifts available include evenings, nights, weekends and some days.
