Executive Assistant

EA position in Derry City. Temporary position initially 3 months with possible extension. Immediate start.

Your new role
As Executive Assistant you will support the Executive Team and the Board in all their functions. The role will include:
  • Taking and circulating professional minutes of Board, Management, and Committee meetings;
  • Drafting correspondence, reports and memos;
  • Compiling data for reports, data analysis, editing, proofreading and other information preparation duties;
  • Creating Powerpoint presentations;
  • Setting up and managing electronic and paper filing systems;
  • Scheduling and booking meetings, travel, and accommodation;
  • Front of house duties and general office/administrative support.

What you'll need to succeed
Reporting to the Finance and Corporate Services Director and working closely with the Executive Team you will be extremely professional and proactive with a positive attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative. It is essential that you are trustworthy and have the ability to exercise discretion as you will be dealing with confidential and sensitive information. You will be able to demonstrate a good standard of education, excellent organisational and communication skills and be proficient in all Microsoft packages.

As Executive Assistant it is important that you can demonstrate recent experience in a similar role. Experience in corporate governance is desirable.
