Your new company is an independent Lloyd’s insurance broker specialising in providing bespoke solutions to support their clients’ growth and success. Your new brokers are growing from strength to strength and pride themselves on providing a wide range of specialist insurance solutions provided to businesses, insurance brokers and trade associations. Due to growth within the Aviation division, a permanent position for a Senior Aviation Technician has arisen.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Aviation Technician is a new position within the Aviation team where you will be handling UK and North American Aviation business for tier 1 clients. This job also offers the opportunity for occasional International travel to the USA . You will be responsible for the processing and preparation of cover notes, invoices, debiting as well as any preparation of closings to the Bureaux . You will also be responsible for calculating and processing client invoices on all new risks and dealing as well as liaising with Xchanging. Other duties will include creating and sending out closings as well as dealing with vertical pricing. This role will suit someone with Senior Technical Aviation experience who is looking for a challenge and responsibility.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Aviation Technician for a Lloyd’s Broker will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have dealt with Aviation business emanating from both UK and some North America and must be willing to travel to the USA if required . Also experience in Airlines Tier 1 - specialist Aviation and Reinsurance would be beneficial. You will be confident in your ability to produce and process Lloyd’s technical documentation. You will be confident in your ability to work effectively in a team, have good organisational skills and use your own ability to think literally and solve problems using your own initiative.
