My client is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the UK and are committed to providing products and services of the very highest quality.

I am currently recruiting for a Network Delivery Manager where you will interface with their given domain and represent that domain in meetings. You will also support the Project Managers on the bigger projects, taking smaller accountabilities within the bigger projects such as raising remedy changes, and other BAU duties. You will also work on smaller projects which they cannot outsource due to the cost, and due to the sensitive nature of the projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the partner to produce a delivery project from the approved scope of work and create the required delivery plan, cost profile and communications plan along with the associated issue, risk, dependency and change registers to enable successful management and delivery of the schedule of work.
  • Create, maintain and execute delivery plans for internally delivered work including milestone plans and issue, risk, dependency and change registers required for successful delivery
  • Place financial commitments for resources and materials on the external and internal partners to initiate the delivery cycle, expediting and tracking materials and receipting goods and services on delivery
  • Ensure that the Liberty Global delivered elements that support the delivery of the technical site infrastructure by the partner, including resources, 3rd party deliverables, stock, high value equipment and technical room resources are identified, and Liberty Global supplier groups have plans in place to enable the delivery of the work
  • Govern the overall partner delivery project execution, risks, issues, changes, dependencies and costs to ensure the delivery meet the required quality, time and cost from both the external and internal partners
  • Manage the end to end delivery quality by creating a quality plan and ensuring that the defined measures are met through quality assurance activities, driving quality control through performance evaluation leading to continual improvement and providing performance feedback to the Partner Delivery Governance Senior Manager
  • Produce and maintain a forecast of delivery costs ensuring that the cost profile is accurate, up to date, variances are managed and that costs remain within the approved funds
  • Produce standard and ad-hoc reports that demonstrate the quality, time and cost performance of the partner delivery work that can support stakeholder communications and delivery Governance partner reviews
  • Manage internal and external delivery partner to deliver high levels of customer service by skilled people and teamwork development and by creating the desired climate and culture
  • Minimum 3 years previous governance, partner and financial experience gained within a large commercial environment
  • Understanding and experience of relevant technologies and systems
  • Expert relationship manager supporting vendor and partner relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations
  • Strong record of people management
Specific Skills & Abilities:
  • Preferable accreditation in ITIL and knowledge of ISO270001 and ISO20000
