An attendance administrator job has arisen at a GOOD primary school in the north Bristol. Essentials for this job are education administration experience with tasks relating to attendance. The school is in a suburban area of Bristol and easily accessible for commuters. The school is a medium sized school with a strong pastoral team. Your new role

Starting in September 2019, a permanent, part time attendance administrator job has become available. The role will include monitoring daily attendance data and to contact parents and carers of absent pupils. You will also produce reports monitoring attendance and absences, identifying patterns and trends and using this data you will feed this back to the SLT and governing body. Participating in the schools agreed pattern of meetings will be a part of this job. You will also need to be aware of the health and safety by being responsible for duty of care for yourself and others at all times, ensuring safe working practices are being followed.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have experience working in a school where a similar role is preferable. Knowledge of attendance regulations and practices regarding child protection and safe guarding is essential. You will need to have SIMS experience and be able to go straight into the job itself and be confident using similar school systems. References will be requested.
