Technical Support Analyst
Would you be interested in working for a well-established financial services organisation helping support their infrastructure systems?

You would be responsible for:
  • Resolving performance and capacity issues using advanced SQL skills
  • Managing maintenance and operational tasks such as cluster failovers and patching
  • Backup management and monitoring
  • Managing disk expansions
  • Monitoring production systems for potential issues
  • Dealing with live issues and helping to restore them in tight timescales
  • Refining and automating regular processes, tracking issues and document changes
  • Contribute to the incident and problem management process

Experience needed:
  • Customer facing experience
  • Educated to a degree level (engineering or science preferred)
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting regimes e.g. EMIR
  • Management and manipulation of large data sets
  • Experience in Financial Services
  • An understanding of project management and application development lifecycle

Skills needed:
  • Very high knowledge of SQL is vital
  • IT Helpdesk experience
  • Wiki / Confluence experience is a bonus
