Temporary ongoing contact centre agent role working for the City of London police. Immediate start, £14.97/h

This organisation is one of the most influential members of the UK Parliament, and this role is based in a well-established police station within Central London.

Your new role
You will be required to provide a high quality customer experience for callers to the organisation’s contact centre. You will be handling a large volume of inbound calls, and will need to provide a high rate of call resolution at first point of contact. You will be working on a shift pattern between the opening hours of the contact centre, between 8am – 6pm.

What you'll need to succeed
You will act as the first point of contact for information and general queries about the organisation, it’s services and public facilities. You must be able to assess the calls and queries against defined criteria, and assist or escalate calls to Department specialists where necessary. You must be comfortable liaising with different Departments within the corporation, in order to ensure that calls are tracked and resolved. You will need to have previous experience working in a contact centre environment dealing with inbound calls, as you will need to handle all customer queries with professionalism and control, ensuring that the customer has a good experience. Basic administration experience is also necessary as you will be required to record calls, update the database, handle some paperwork, and deal with correspondence. The appointed candidate will be required to go through police vetting in order to work within the contact centre.
