Area Sales Manager - Sony - South East


Area Sales Manager – Central London Location: Central London (Oxford Street, Knightsbridge, Fulham, New Malden, Stratford, Kensington, Kingston upon Thames)

Working hours: every week you will be working 5 out of 7 days - 3 out of 4 Saturdays and Sundays per month + majority of Bank Holidays

Job Purpose: You will be responsible to drive sales across a cluster of well-known home electrical retail stores via your team of Sales promoters and the relationships you build in store.


  • Managing 1 or 2 promoters based across 11 stores. Most of these will be weekend promoters.
  • Managing and developing team – coaching, identifying weak areas and improving team.
  • Looking after promoters in 2 of the biggest stores in the country
  • Building excellent relationships with external clients
  • Owning merchandise and ensuring these are clean, visible and available for customers to demo.
  • Install new displays and refresh Point of Sale
  • Able to use Excel to an advanced level and utilise it for data analysis to prioritise importance of tasks
  • Highly organised and commercially focused
  • Able to understand the business on a micro level
  • Following disciplinary process if needed for under performing staff
  • Building and excellent relationship with store colleagues/management team to improve Sony’s share of business.
  • Holding regular training sessions for promoters and store staff to improve knowledge of Sony products. Sharing key points and USPs of products in store.
  • Have an excellent technical knowledge of Sony products.

Essential Experience:
  • UK Manual Driving Licence (we can accept up to 6 points)
