They are in need of a strong and exceptionally experienced PR and Media Relations expert to come on board and oversee a team of 4-6 individuals.

Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for handling all media relations, seeking out stories and developing them into gripping and engaging pieces of material. You will be responsible for handling and the creation of information that is to be shared between your organisation and its audience. To grasp their attention and interest in what your organisation has to say. With your organisation being a governing body you will be required to have knowledge and interest in political affairs and have the ability to transfer the message into an easy to read, digestible and informative piece of material.

You will be expected to handle media during a crisis and develop quick and well grounded responses whilst always keeping the brand and organisation as a priority and raising their profile in the best of ways.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you MUST have experience within the Public Sector/Local Authority as this will simply help you to hit the ground running and deliver your objectives. You will have previously line managed as you will be over seeing a team of 4-6 persons, so ensuring they are working efficiently and proactively, helping them develop their skills set and ensuring they have all the tools they require to fulfil their role.

Essentially, you are the most important factor to your success in this role, the perfect person will have outstanding written and verbal communication with an innate ability to write! The level of your written/story creation will determine how much of chance you have in obtaining this role.
