A leading Aviation business are looking for ambitious sales people to join their team based within their stunning London office.

Your new role

This role is an essential part of the sales teams and will be involved in selling exhibition space for the largest exhibition in the UK for Aviation.
You will be a key member of a successful and driven sales team, responsible for proactively hunting new business. One of the key things will be providing customer care and being able to develop long-term relationships with exhibitors and being able to bring on new exhibitors.

The team is fun, friendly and dynamic.
They have a can-do culture and, having doubled in size in the last three years, it's a fast-moving business with big ambitions.

This role is most suited to an experienced, tenacious sales person who has passion for bringing on new business.

• Responsible for delivering event sponsorship revenue in line with targets and KPI's
• Cross-sell across the suite of events throughout the year
• Research, identify and build sales pipelines with qualified leads including new business and existing accounts
• Develop strong relationships and grow revenues with existing customers
• Build and demonstrate effective and creative sales pitches for launch or annual events
• Develop healthy sales pipelines and demonstrate regular movement through the sales pipeline
• Understand customer business objectives and identify sponsorship and exhibition solutions that deliver on those objectives
• Create solutions to close any predicted revenue shortfalls
• Work with the wider conferences team to deliver on customers' objectives
• Meet weekly with management weekly to report on progress and discuss and agree a plan of action

What you'll need to succeed

• Preferably 2-4 years’ experience within a tele-sales environment in a proactive tele-sales role (preferably exhibitions)
• Membership sales/Exhibition sales/ business development individual
• Good understanding of the products of the manufacturing technologies industries
• Computer literate with sound knowledge of Access database, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent negotiating, selling, communication and interpersonal skills
• Achievement orientated
• Confident dealing with Management level decision makers
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Attention to detail, thorough, precise and detailed record keeper
• Team player, but also able to work autonomously

Desired Skills

• Demonstrable experience in B2B sales
• Strong track record of being able to sell effectively through telephone sales and face to face meetings
• Proven experience of working to and achieving revenue targets
• A keen appetite to proactively chase and win new business
• Able to discuss business issues at a senior level
• Have a solution\-orientated approach to resolving issues/challenges
• Able to quickly develop knowledge of new markets and conference topics
• Ability to work across multiple projects and perform under pressure
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Results focused, and goal orientated
• Must thrive in a fast-moving environment
• Team player committed to supporting the team goals in addition to working on own initiative
• A positive and energetic attitude
