The Role:

Looking for experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the definition and execution of Pharmaceutical and Delivery Device ‘New Product Introductions’ (NPI) and commercial industrialisation activities to support outsourcing strategies to business partners and CMO’s.

  • Responsible for organising engineering transfer and scale-up projects during their Industrialisation phases
  • Builds and structures New Product Introductions (NPI)/Industrialisation projects and their organisation through their lifecycle from concept/definition through execution and handover stages
  • Create and executes project plans and revises as appropriate in response to dynamic and changing conditions
  • Manages and reports on project budgets within defined parameters and scope
  • Creates and maintains the full range of project documentation including; progress reports, resource and task plans, finances, agreements, dashboards and KPIs
  • Applies the use of risk management techniques to facilitate project decision and actions aligned to the Quality Management System
  • Actively communicates/interacts with internal and external stakeholders and project team members; builds teams and positive relationships to ensure project delivery and accurate status reporting
  • Provides management support for outsourced activities and agreements, engaging with external suppliers, partners and CMO’s as appropriate

What you need:

  • First degree in relevant engineering or scientific discipline (e.g. Engineering / Life Sciences/ Physical Sciences)
  • More than 5 years working in technical roles aligned to manufacturing processes within the Pharmaceutical and/or medical Device industries.
  • More than 2 years’ experience of managing and coordination technically focused projects e.g. Industrialisation; scale up; transfer and manufacturing Infrastructure experience highly desirable
  • Track record of delivering of technically complex projects
  • Experience of managing dynamic cross-functional teams and project matrix structures

  • Salary £55,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience (negotiable)
