Your new role

This Science Technician role is permanent and an all year-round position. This role will be a 37-hour week. This Secondary School has an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, experienced and highly motivated Science Technician. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Science Technician. Helping to set up for lessons, following safety guidelines and ensuring the smooth running of a lesson. Providing a first class, effective and efficient Science support service must be a key priority for the successful candidate. Experience within a similar role and environment would be desirable.

What you'll need to succeed

Whilst an experience in an education setting would be useful it is not essential. More importantly, you would need to demonstrate your background Science Technician experience, resilience and organisational skills. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with staff and students daily. The person appointed must be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students at the school.
