Hours Shift work either 08:00am – 16:00pm/10:00am – 18:00pm between team members (Monday - Friday)

Job Overview
You will work within the Programme Support Office to support the wider Programme Team. You will also provide data analysis, report generation, administrative and coordination support directly to the Programme team. The role will also include a significant amount of data entry, direct customer contact, interdepartmental communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Project Administrator is responsible for project administration, documentation and coordination.
  • Work closely with other PSO team members and the programme team to oversee the delivery of orders.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure intelligent analysis of Management Information (MI) is collated, on time and presented to senior stakeholders.
  • Management and proactive ownership of assigned programme activity, providing regular updates as required.
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on outstanding activity.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customers and colleagues in a professional and timely manner, over the phone and via email.
  • Provide input into project & programme communications.
  • Manage suppliers where appropriate.
  • Assist with asset management and supply chain of equipment.
  • Processing orders and service change requests.
  • Collation and review of circuit details.

Experience
  • Good solid experience in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, well-organised and self-reliant.
  • Strong analytical, interpretation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to take and manage meeting minutes and action lists.
  • Strong coordination skills.
  • Ability to build strong and positive supplier relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver against required timescales.

Desirable Skills and Attributes
  • Previously worked within or been involved in a project management environment.
  • Exposure to Prince 2 and project management methodology.
  • Previous telecoms experience is desirable, but not essential.
