Your New Company/Job:

An Innovative and rapidly expanding biopharma, creating complex cell therapy platforms to help patients suffering from a wide range of cancers. The company is building a team of talented and motivated people to pursue a collective mission, “cure cancer”. We are currently looking for a QC Scientist who will join the Manufacturing Group to support the team to qualify and perform quality control assays on genetically engineered T cell products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, optimize, and/or qualify quality control assays that utilize platforms such as qPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA or other systems, as required.
  • Work closely and effectively with CMOs for technology transfer and support.
  • Prepare and review certificate of analysis or reports for review by Quality Assurance.
  • Liase with the Facility Management for coordination of manufacturing activities and warehousing of raw materials.

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in biological sciences or related field and minimum of 2 - 3 years progressive experience in a cell therapy/gene therapy/lentiviral or related field in quality control.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishment, qualification and validation of assays related to cell therapy product such as flow cytometry and qPCR.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and ability to apply GLPs in conformance with EU, FDA and/or ICH standards.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction.
