E-Learning Coordinator, £250 -£300 Day Rate Outside IR35
Your new company
Your new company is public sector organisation looking to improve engagement and learning of their stakeholders by developing an e-learning platform.

Your new role
You will be integral in the development of the use of eLearning technologies and the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE; Moodle). You will assist the stakeholders throughout the site with their research and finding other online resources. You will need to have front line experience and be happy to be hands on in this role.

You will need to work closely with IT Services to build ICT support skills within the whole eLearning team to ensure technical problems are dealt with efficiently to minimise disruption to users.You will also need to maintain learner and staff registration details and issue identity badges.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Be responsible for the development, installation (where applicable) and maintenance of ICT Based eLearning platforms such as Moodle, Office365 and the Blended Learning Consortium. This will require some technical knowledge of Office365 with a focus on Sharepoint, OneDrive, and teams as well as Moodle VLE administration.
  • Deliver staff inductions in the use of the eLearning platforms including Office365, VLE and ProMonitor
  • Develop eLearning and training resources for online access by staff and stakeholders via a range of eLearning Platforms including Office365 and Moodle
  • Deliver regular staff training in the application of e-Learning and ILT based platforms used to deliver eLearning
  • Liaise with Curriculum Leaders and teaching staff to develop exemplar courses and training modules to embed eLearning into all curriculum areas
  • Maintain knowledge of current innovation in the sector regarding the use of learning technologies
  • Support and Administer mobile learning technologies such as iPads and Tablets
  • To assist in the collection of data for statistical reporting of eLearning activity
  • To contribute to the development of a converged service for the LRC and eLearning.

Your Essential Skills:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - *

  • Knowledge of Virtual Learning Environments - *
  • Knowledge of Office365 Administration and Management - *
  • Knowledge of academic databases
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Operating systems and Internet Technologies
