Implementation Co-ordinator/Project Co-ordinator

Looking for a Project/Implementation Coordinator to join a Northampton-based company on a permanent basis.

They provide POS solutions to the retail sector on an international scale, with key clients based in Europe and the Americas and looking to branch further into the Americas. Your new role

As a Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager, you will support the business by working with clients (retailers) and 3rd Party providers to on-board them to the business's solution and provide ongoing support for operational activities. You can expect to be getting involved with:

  • Being part of or managing project/product implementations;
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all project deliverables assigned;
  • Contribute to creating Business Functional Requirements;
  • Creating use cases/UML diagrams;
  • Creating test scripts;
  • Performing e2e business testing;
  • Creating test reports;
  • Resolving any identified problems/issues throughout the implementation process;
  • Involvement in producing operational business reports;
  • Resolving operational queries/problems for end clients post/during production.

What you'll need to succeed


The ideal candidate must be able to work within a small team with some degree of autonomy. They should be able to demonstrate:

  • Full right to work in the UK;
  • Project planning and management experience;
  • A good understanding of the card payment industry, retailer systems (specifically point of sale), Banking/Acquiring,
  • Worked in a project environment;
  • Business testing experience (demonstrable understanding of process required);
  • Experience creating UML/Use Cases;
  • Flexibility and adaptability and take a ‘hands on’ approach;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Communicate effectively with clients (to technical and non-technical audiences) both orally and in writing;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to present information, analysis, ideas in a clear manner;
  • The ability to work to agreed deadlines;
  • Dynamic and self-motivated;
  • Team Player;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Customer focused;
