Your New Company/Job:

An Innovative and rapidly expanding biopharma, creating complex cell therapy platforms to help patients suffering from a wide range of cancers. The company is building a team of talented and motivated people to pursue a collective mission, “cure cancer”. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing/Process Development Group Lead who will join the Manufacturing Group to lead a team to manufacture genetically engineered T cell products .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore and define any process parameters that are critical to the production of T-cell products.
  • Lead the development and production of T-cells products for various pipeline programs and in-vivo animal studies.
  • Manage and maintain a GMP manufacturing facility to meet FDA, EU and MHRA guidelines.
  • Supervise and work with the core manufacturing teams in a GMP environment.
  • Serve as the technical resource for the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure conformity to the Quality Management System.
  • Prepare, review and revise SOPs and manufacturing reports.
  • Review manufacturing records.


  • Ph. D. in biological sciences or related field and minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a cell therapy or related field in GMP manufacturing.
  • Experience in analytical assay execution and development, particularly flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based toxicity assays.
  • Experience working with lentiviral vectors and primary human T cells is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with GMPs in conformance with EU, FDA and MHRA standards.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational skills.


  • Competitive Salary £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
