This is a great new permanent procurement job opportunity in central London within a globally recognised and highly prestigious financial services organisation. The company is recognised for hiring very bright individuals who want to make a difference, and who are looking to develop in their career. Their procurement function is about to go through a major transformation and they are now looking to add a number of senior people to their existing procurement operations team.

Your new role
This is a great opportunity to join the procurement function at a really exciting time as they are about to embark on a significant period of positive transformation and change that will affect their procurement scope, processes and systems and structure. You will be reporting into a senior member of the procurement leadership team and will have the opportunity to really make the role your own. You will be joining an existing team that is already highly regarded for the good work that they have done over the recent years, and you will be joining at a similar time to a couple of other members of the team. This environment suits an ambitious individual, and for good performance there will be opportunities to progress within your career.

You will be responsible for shaping the procurement operations in terms of processes, systems and helping reshape the category management and supplier relationship management.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate that you have significant experience of working within a procurement operations environment, looking at shaping the improvement across procurement systems, processes and people. This role requires someone who is great at working with key stakeholders, but will also require an analytical approach.
