Your new job working as Operations Director, will be working within an established Insurance Consultancy, where you will be responsible for managing the Operational Change Management within the London Market Processing team. Your new Insurance Consultancy area leading provider of services to the Insurance Industry and pride themselves on being the delivery of high quality and tailored Insurance solutions to clients. Due to expansion within the division a permanent position for an Operational Director to drive down working capital through improved cash collection and operational improvement across various classes of business has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job working as an Operational Director, means you will be responsible for implementing process improvement for cash collection across various business classes. You will have a sound knowledge of the London Insurance Market and understand how various business lines work in conjunction with Loss adjusters. You will be competent in liaising with Global offices to help track aged cash debt and be able to successfully manage a team of direct reports as well as, stakeholder management at COO/ CEO level. You will be responsible for developing an operations strategy, that caters for the offshore office and London office and be able to be produced guidelines that align with the company’s long term goals. You will Improving the performance of the operation – monitoring and analyses the overall performance of the company and implement the necessary changes to improve costs chasing and effectiveness. Other duties will include; streamlining the accounts department and be able to ascertain what the resources should be doing and now makes sure they are done in alignment with the London Insurance market processes. The main outline will be overseeing the general reduction planned of tapped debt from clients on a Global scale.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working within a Lloyd’s Broker, Syndicate or Managing Agency where you have worked as an Operational director and significantly improved the cash flow, chasing of aged debt and general reduction process will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven experience of London Market Insurance improvement processes, management of people, be able to successfully liaise with Stakeholders at an international level and by dynamic and flexible in your problem solving attitude. You will have proven experience of dramatically improving business processes within the Lloyd’s Market and be technically astute, highly literate and numerate and preferably be have started some professional qualifications. Your excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team. This is a senior role, where you will demonstrate leadership and business process improvement at the highest level.
