Late Phase Statistician

12 Month Contract with opportunities to extend, Fully Home Based, Extremely attractive Hourly Rates

Your new company
I am working with a Global Pharmaceutical Company who are the market leader within their Therapy Areas of expertise and have produced multiple successful and innovative products within these areas in the past years. This has culminated into them having a strong base of core products and are now undergoing a mass expansion project across all their global statistical teams, so they can deliver on their extremely promising pipeline.

We are searching for multiple Statisticians that will join their Late Phase portfolio that has exponential potential and contains extremely exciting projects that are currently in Phase II and III and will shape the market for years to come. The company are looking to add personnel on a 12-month contract basis which has opportunities to extend throughout determined by yourself. We are willing to offer fully home-based positioning to the successful candidates and an extremely attractive hourly rate that is unmatched in the current market.

Your new role

  • Provide strategic input by suggesting innovative statistical methods that will help accelerate the development process or market access.
  • Ensure high quality of statistical deliverables in close collaboration with external vendor partners.
  • Adhere to the company SOPs and processes.
  • Frame questions and problems to incorporate multiple perspectives and provide a path to making sound decisions.
  • Communicate complex issues in nontechnical language
  • Use technical expertise to pro-actively influence business decisions
  • Develop, maintain and ensure standardization across the clinical studies within the clinical program .
  • Contribute towards the biostatistical deliverables required for the NDA/MAA submission for the clinical program and help ensure the deliverables are completed accurately and in accordance with timelines.
  • Provides input for pooling strategies for submissions
  • Work with/within submission teams to ensure proper responses to statistical related questions from regulatory authorities or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies are delivered in a timely manner.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in Biostatistics within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
  • MSc in Biostatistics or a Related Field
  • Expertise working in Phase II/III or in Submission projects
  • Good knowledge in SAS and/or R programming
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Able to explain advanced statistics in a non-technical manner to non-statisticians
  • Knowledge of Data Standards E.g CDISC, SDTM and AdAM
