I am currently working with a market leading construction company who are going through an exciting period of development within their IT and Digital space.

Your new role

The Office 365 Coordinator has a key role in developing and maintaining the Office 365 environment with the system acting as a central document management facility for the organisations corporate documents, as well as providing team-based collaborative sites for use across the organisation. The Office 365 coordinator role involves day-to-day maintenance and administration of the system, user support, liaison with users to maintain a current understanding of their Office 365 requirements and contribution to the formulation and implementation of system development projects.

What you'll need to succeed

  • SharePoint: Business requirements elicitation, solution specification and design, develop/build, configure and customise, test, support, train, deliver, maintain, enhance; log, audit and report configurations and activity
  • Work with internal staff members and key IT suppliers and partners
  • Frequently contact the business to capture the needs and map towards O365 functionality
  • Ensure all Office 365 solutions are fit-for-purpose
  • Contributing to the development of system governance and monitoring compliance with requirements
  • Creating and maintaining processes, procedures and documentation related to Office 365
  • Assisting with future developments, including business system integration, testing and selection of 3rd party tools to meet business needs and extension of system architecture
  • Monitoring and reporting on various aspects of system usage
  • Work closely with key individuals across the company in customising, enhancing and troubleshooting Office 365, and build positive working relationships
  • Implementation, management and following of life-cycles for Office 365 based systems, including the activities: plan, design, develop/build, configure and customise, test, support, train, deliver
  • Deliver training and support: take ownership of support tickets related to business systems issues or requests within the context of Office 365 and related bespoke applications, including documentation and closure of tickets in accordance with the IT Support process
  • Work closely with the IT Team; effective escalation of incidents, issues and risks
  • Creation and delivery of structured technical training; provision of training on an ad-hoc basis to individuals and small groups of people
  • Maintaining a current awareness of technical developments related to Office 365 and emerging strategies for its use across the Group
