Your new role
This is a varied role working for an exciting media firm offering great training and progression. The duties, supporting the payroll manager, will include
Payroll for 500 staff (weekly and monthly)
Processing starters, leavers, contract variations, tax code changes, student loans 
Calculations of and processing - SMP,SSP, SPP, SPL etc
Year end procedures, P11d's, P60's
Payroll journals - a good understand and experience is essential!
Payroll queries
Payroll reconciliations
Statutory and voluntary deductions
Dealing with government agencies
Dealing with expenses, forex payments, petty cash
Working on Ceridian




What you'll need to succeed
You will either  have worked as a payroller with exposure to accounts (expenses, journal entries) or as an accounts assistant/bookkeeper with some basic payroll skills
