Your new company
Following the merger of Wexham, Heatherwood and Frimley Park hospital in 2014, Frimley Health Foundation Trust was formed. Frimley Health Foundation Trust are embarking on a strategic Digital Transformation programme that aims to deliver a fully integrated EPR solutions across the Trust.

We are looking to appoint an EPR (Electronic Patient Record) Programme Manager to oversee the selection and implementation of the chosen EPR, including the development of an EPR strategy, ensuring solutions are aligned to the Trusts overall Digital Services strategy.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Programmes and working alongside the CIO, you will lead and manage the transformation journey of moving to a singular Patient Administration System (PAS) and ePMI, ensuring engagement across the Trust.

The EPR Programme Manager will enable the Trust to move to a digital environment by removing manual and often paper based processes.

You will be responsible for planning and designing the programme proactively to monitor progress, resolving issues and lead changes as appropriate. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously to agreed timescales and cost, defining governance arrangements, ensuring they are in line with current PMO standards.

The EPR Programme Manager will assist the Clinical Design Authority and Service Directors with business case completion, prepare documentation for approvals, through the Trusts governance processes, (including sign off at the transformation board), as well providing rigorous inspection of EPR business cases (ensuring costs and savings are appropriate and the selected EPR is fit for purpose).

You’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to lead change and digital transformation, with the confidence to make tough decisions, take calculated risks and be able to articulate benefits of change and the associated savings achieved. We estimate the potential cost savings of £80M over 7 years.

In addition to the above you will ensure effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme, managing the programme budget, monitoring expenditure and costs, manage risk and issues effectively and escalate as appropriate, to the Head of Programmes.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with significant NHS experience, able to understand the complexity of clinical applications, acute stages of patient care and associated processes and teams.

You will have a can-do attitude, be resilient and demonstrate the ability to manage and balance a wide range of Stakeholders, with often conflicting priorities.

As the EPR Programme Manager you will be customer centric and have an outstanding record of delivering complex projects/ programmes within the NHS.

Acting as the primary point of contact for the Trust’s EPR implementation, you will have delivered a programme of similar budgetary size (£10M) and have knowledge of IM&T procurements exceeding £1M.

You will demonstrate exceptional leaderships skills, have an in-depth understanding of project and programme management and be aware of their highly complex interdependencies.
