Your new company
Following the merger of Wexham, Heatherwood and Frimley Park hospital in 2014, Frimley Health Foundation Trust was formed. Frimley Health Foundation Trust are embarking on a strategic Digital Transformation programme that aims to deliver a fully integrated Electronic Patient Record system (EPR) across the Trust.

We are looking to appoint a Digital Integrations & Solutions Manager to take responsibility for providing the technical design authority for the Digital solutions team which is a key component to the digital roadmap for the Trust.

The Trust currently have a hybrid approach for delivering an EPR, which requires a strong integration and solutions team of SME’s, to transition away from this approach over time.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Digital Solutions & Adoption and working alongside the CIO, you will manage the clinical systems team who provide all development and maintenance for a number of applications, ensuring that integration and interfacing is maintained.

As the Digital Integrations & Solutions Manager you will actively contribute to the Trusts overall digital strategy, taking responsibility for supporting the digital SME’s to become the technical design authority for system projects, to support tactical and strategic projects and programmes.

The DBA Service provide the most senior technical database design knowledge, making critical decisions, which control security, availability, accessibility and performance of the Trusts core systems, that ultimately impact patient records, patient safety, activity records and Trust revenue.

You will test interfaces and provide performance statistics and reports, to develop strategies for maintaining the infrastructure, ensuring ITIL standards are applied, and SLAs are agreed and met.

Working alongside the Digital eHealth Architect, assisting with planning systems architecture and migration from legacy systems, to support a phased EPR development. You will develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for systems administration and project management.

You will participate in leading the implementation and delivery of the Digital Solutions interfacing and solutions services across the Trust, providing expert-level support and guidance. In addition to the above you will drive data security, integrity and protection against unauthorised access, or intrusion for all Trust interfaces.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a driven Integrations Manager who has previous experience of managing highly technical teams, including; DBAs, TDA’s, Applications Development/ Support, and BI/ Data Analytics teams with the commercial experience to be able to guide and influence technical decisions relating to relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Microsoft, or UNIX operating systems).

You will have in-depth knowledge of SQL Server database administration, software testing strategies, and technical knowledge of database design in a clinical environment. The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise a demanding schedule under pressure, you’ll demonstrate strong influencing skills to lead and encourage others with confidence, and remain results driven to ensure the best integrations solutions for the Trust.
