Reservations Manager

Affluent hospitality business in Kensington looking for experienced Reservations Manager to join their team

Your new role
You will be a pivotal part of the team as you will ensure the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target. Your duties will include:

  • Having knowledge of the entire reservation procedure according to the business' systems
  • Being responsible for hotel and local reservations
  • Handling correspondence for the wider team
  • Review reservations daily
  • Reviewing and preparing a daily arrival report
  • Preparing occupancy forecasts and revenue stream forecasts/reports
  • Implementing new policies and procedures
  • Recording Company/Travel Agent Rates both electronically and in a correspondence file
  • Liaising with sales agents with regard to occupancy
  • Being knowledgeable in hotel and guest room facilities/services
  • Preparing production and supply reports
  • Special handling of repeat and VIP guests

What you'll need to succeed
You will need excellent communication skills including fluent English, verbal and written.
Excellent computer literacy
Previous experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry
