Support Worker

Hays Social Care are recruiting for a company working in the Lancashire area with disadvantaged young people.

Your new company
You will be working as a Hays employee paid on a weekly basis for a partnering Social Care company, working with young people with challenging and complex backgrounds.

Your new role
You will be working 1:1, 2:1 with young people experiencing challenges within their lives. This maybe within the crime, drugs, neglect, abuse and you will work with multi agency to try and ensure the young people follow their individual care plans. You will support their education , health and mental well being.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience working with young people with challenging behaviours and involved with crimes or complex needs. You will need to be a driver due to rural location. You will need to be able to commit to at least one shift per week although this is flexible. If you can only do one shift per week or if you need 42 hours.

A full 3 day training course paid for, competitive rates of pay. Guaranteed as many hours as you can accommodate and flexible working. Holiday pay, pension contributions and a dbs will be provided.
